Abstract

A disposable garment is produced in non-woven fabric e.g. for use over other clothing when dirty or contaminating work is attempted. Previously, the stiffness of such fabric has offered problems during wear, particularly in the area of the crutch. The garment of the invention is shaped so that, when it is flat, the two legs lie at an angle of at least 30 deg. to offer improved comfort and less likelihood of dragging between the legs, increasing the working life of the garment. The garment is made in three parts, a 'top' of sleeves and a body, and the two leg portions which are joined by welding, glueing or stitching.
