Abstract

The invention relates to a pack of the flexible type for cigarettes or the like, in which a group of cigarettes, in the shape of a parallelepiped, is covered with a single wrapping sheet. The sheet is formed by a first part bearing an inscription or label 4, enveloping the four sides and a base of the group of cigarettes, and a second part 5 with a metallic appearance, covering the other base. Description

The present invention relates to a flexible type package

  for cigarettes or other items of the same kind.

  In the flexible, traditional package, three layers super

  wrapping around cigarettes: a first

  inside, in contact with the cigarettes, covered with paper, covered on one side with a thin metallic foil (tin paper); a second layer of paper (label) por

  both the printed mark of the product and different motifs

  natives, excluding an access base inside the package; an outer skin, resistant to moisture, usually

  formed by a transparent material.

  Flexible packs for cigarettes having a simpler form than traditional packets, have been pro

  laid to save paper and

  to put the use of less complicated packaging machines

and less expensive.

  A first type of this kind of packets, described in the patent

  English N. 1.000.443 provides that cigarettes are

  veloped in a single sheet composed of two parts with different characteristics, obtained by uniting the

  along one edge a sheet of paper and a strip of pa-

pewter pier.

  The appearance of this package is similar to that of the traditional soft packs and saves largely the packaging, but has some inherent disadvantages

  that do not recommend production.

  It sometimes happens, for example, that the two parts of the sheet separate and this is due to the reduced extension of the superimposed and union zone, formed only

  by the edges composing the leaf, or that they decompose

  during packaging, because of an imperfect collage

  caused the obstruction of the packaging machine

  and producing, therefore, a faulty packet.

  This invention also seeks to provide a package of

  flexible type for cigarettes having the same appearance of

  traditional flexible quilts but which can be produced in

  achieving a remarkable economy of packaging.

  The present invention also wants to provide a package

  of the aforesaid type which can be achieved by means of

  simpler and less expensive than those required by the pro

  duction of packets of the traditional type.

  These and other results are obtained by the flexible package for cigarettes or other articles of the

  same kind of the present invention, which presents to the outside

  a first part bearing an inscription, called a label, enveloping the four sides and a base of a

  group of cigarettes basically in the form of

  lepiped, and a second part with a metallic appearance

  covering the second base, in direct contact with the ciga-

Claims (4)

  (1) Flexible package for cigarettes or other articles   similar keys, having on the outside a first printed part, called a label, enveloping the four sides and a base of a group of cigarettes forming a parallelepiped, and a second part with a metallic appearance, covering the other base, in contact with the cigarettes and serving as access to the aforesaid packet,   the aforesaid package being characterized in that it is   killed by a single wrapping sheet 3 of which the first part bears an inscription or label 4 and the second Part 5 has the metallic appearance.   2) A cigarette pack according to claim 1,   characterized in that the aforesaid sheet 3 is formed by a   paper sheet, the surface of which is intended to form the   outer section of the package 1 is made of metal laminate and   te, typographically printed, the first part aforesaid with the inscription or label 4.   3) Cigarette pack according to claim 1, characterized   characterized in that the aforesaid sheet 3 is constituted by a typographically printed paper sheet that first part with inscription or label 4 and the second   aforesaid part with metallic appearance 5.   4) Cigarette pack according to claim 1, characterized   in that the aforesaid sheet 3 is constituted by a   printed paper sheet, typographically printed, the first   first part above with inscription or label 4, the second part   of aforesaid part with the metallic appearance 5 being constituted   by a thin solid foil entirely posed to the aforesaid sheet.
