Abstract

Illuminated signs for static or moving vehicles involves a supporting framework mounted on the vehicle, a hinged panel for accepting lettering and a lamp system. The construction involves rubber seals around the edge of the frame and opt. a tough transparent panel of polycarbonate fixed on a hinged frame to form a protective cover. Description

 The present invention relates to the illuminated advertising display, on the lateral, rear, front and upper sides of all vehicles (mobile or fixed) on which a framework, a light source and poster supports will be provided.

 This process is applicable to all vehicles and similar regardless of their shape or capacity.

Vehicles usually used as advertising media have many disadvantages
- impossibility of a simple and quick replacement of the poster because it is always glued and protected by a fixed cover,
- impossibility of a display on a large surface, because Up to now the support has always been attached to the bodywork, therefore fragile, even dangerous in its risks of overshoot.

The process, object of the invention, makes it possible to avoid the aforementioned drawbacks and offers the following advantages
- effective visibility in all weathers thanks to its lighting
- easy handling thanks to the opening panel and the simplicity of fixing the poster on the support by magnetic system.

In addition, this process will considerably improve the impact on the consumer and will have the advantage of not harming the aesthetics of the environment.

 The device, object of the invention, comprises a frame fixed to the vehicle, lighting operating on direct current, a poster support composed by a panel articulated in two parts, one part of which, that receiving the light diffusing plate, is fixed on the frame, the other part, free, receiving a transparent cover for the protection of the poster. The poster with the light diffusing plate as support will be fixed by means of articulated magnets.

 The accompanying drawings illustrate by way of example an embodiment of the device according to the present invention.

 - The load-bearing framework is made up of posts 1, fixed on the platform of the vehicle, connected --- at the head by crosspieces 2 ensuring the rigidity of the assembly.

 - At the center of this frame at the top, a cross-member 3 will complete the stability of the whole.

 - On all vertical faces, guides 4 ensuring the maintenance of the four panels 5 will be welded, externally at the top and bottom of the frame.

 - In the upper part, internally, will be welded an angle iron 6, intended to receive the two panels 7.

 - The panels 5 and 7 consist of two metal parts, one fixed 8, the other mobile 9.

 - On the fixed part 8, will be welded, at the top and bottom, at each end, a pierced tab 10 intended to receive a rod 11 threaded at each end and blocked by a bolt 12. On this rod, magnets 13 will slide serving to hold the poster 14 on a metal support 15 fixed on a light diffusing plate 16 itself fixed on the frame 8.

 - To reduce the vibratory effects due to the moving vehicle, a rubber band 17 will be bonded to the periphery of the guides 4 as well as to the angles 6 of the panels 7.

- On the movable part 9 a plate 18 made of polycarbonate, transparent, colorless, and unbreakable will be fixed to the metal frame.

 - A glued joint 19 will seal the two metal parts 8 and 9 of the panel when they are closed.

 - Holes 20 will be provided in elements 16, 8 and 4 to allow the fixing of the fixed part 8 to the frame by means of bolts 21 with countersunk heads.

 - A seal 22 will be glued between the angle 6 and the fixed part of the panel 7 to ensure the seal.

- The light source will operate on direct current.

Slide rails 23 adapted on a support 24 itself fixed to the vehicle tray will allow a double displacement of the projector 25, horizontally by the rail 23, and the variable orientation by ball joint.

Claims (4)

 1 - Illuminated advertising display on the side, rear, front and upper sides of mobile or stationary vehicles comprising - a frame fixed to the vehicle  - a poster holder made up of an articulated panel  - a light source. 2-Illuminated advertising display according to claim 1 characterized by the fixing on the plate of a frame made up of posts 1 connected together at the head by cross-members 2 ensuring the rigidity of the assembly, by a cross-member 3 in the center of the frame ensuring the stability of the assembly, by guides 4 welded externally at the top and bottom of the frame by angles 6 welded internally on the crosspieces 2 and 3.  3 - Illuminated advertising display according to claim 1 characterized by a light source operating on direct current. Slide rails 23 adapted on a support 24 itself fixed to the vehicle platform will allow the projector 25 to be displaced twice, horizontal by the rail 23 and orientable by ball joint.  4 - Illuminated advertising display according to claim 1 or 2 characterized by the panels 5, 7 consisting of 2 metal parts, including a fixed 8 and a mobile 9. On the fixed part 8, at the top and bottom, at each end, will be welded a pierced tab 10, intended to receive a rod 11 threaded at each end and blocked by a bolt 12. On this rod 11 will slide magnets 13 serving to maintain the poster 14 on a metal support 15 fixed on a light diffusing plate 16 itself fixed on the frame 8. A rubber band 17 will be stuck on the periphery of the guides 4, as well as on the angles 6 of the panels 7.  On the mobile part 9 a transparent, unbreakable polycarbonate plate 18 will be fixed to the metallic frame.  will seal the two parts of the panel when they are closed. A seal 19 bonded to the fixed metal part 8 Holes 20 will be provided in the elements 16, 8 and 4, in order to allow the fixing of the fixed part 8 to the frame by means of bolts 21 with countersunk heads.  A seal 22 will be bonded between the angle 6 and the fixed part of the panel 7 which will ensure the seal.
