Abstract

The device enables rapid fire from a hand held firearm without aiming. It uses the projection of light on to the target and a battery on the firearm powers the light. The battery is carried in a tube. The battery carrying tube is placed and fixed, as required, on -or below the barrel of the firearm. The battery is alkaline type and the lamp can shine a beam for more than 40 metres. The device can be used by day or night by all types of personnel.
