Abstract

The two table tops which are connected together for articulated movement are supported by a horizontal telescopic frame comprising two end members (28,28') and an intermediate element (4,4') wherein the two end members are each fastened to a support plate (11,11') of the frame. One support plate has a projection which is movable together with the frame whilst the other is firmly connected to the one fixed table top (2). The table legs (12,12') are attached to the support plates and can be folded down parallel to each other and to the tabletops on to the frame.
