Abstract

The ticket dispenser consists of a plastics box of rectangular shape with the dimensions of the ticket book. The box is fitted with an end slot (7) just below the lid. The inside of the box below the slot has a curved edge (5). The box is filled through a flap (2) which has a latch (3) locking into the groove (4). The box lid is integral with the sides and has a central oval thumb hole (1) through which individual tickets are pushed out of the box through the slot (7).

Description

The present invention relates to a distributor of metro tickets, busw or other tickets of the same format. These items must be dispensed individually, guided with the thumb, to an outlet.

For this, provision is made for a dispenser formed from an injected plastic housing, or any other material, the dimensions, length, width and height of which will allow sliding in, at least a book of ten metro tickets, of bus, etc ...

This box, in the shape of a parallelepiped, is characterized by the fact that it comprises on the upper face, an opening in which a finger can engage, which, by pressure and sliding towards the front must each time lead to a SINGLE ticket, towards a slot made near the upper edge of the object.

Opposite this slot, a folding part allows, once opened, to slide inside, refills of metro, bus tickets, etc.

 I1 then suffices, to close the boot, to fold in its initial, vertical position, this flap.

A platform, inclined plane being integral with the dispenser, allows easier sliding of the ticket intended to be used and called to appear before the opening at its outlet.

This invention may consist of a packaging that is inseparable from its content, formed of a single molded part, inside of which would be placed, at the time of manufacture, and prior to final sealing, a determined number of metro, bus or other tickets of the same format.

Other details and particularities of the invention will emerge from the description below, given by way of non-limiting example, and with reference to the various diagrams appended.

Figure I shows a sectional view of the dispenser. We observe on the upper part, not hatched, the opening intended for the passage of the finger, (I).

At the rear, a flap (2) here in the open position, allowing the entry of metro, bus, etc. tickets.

At the upper end of this flap, a lug (3) intended to enter a notch (4) formed at the base of the dispenser, so that it can be closed by pressure when loaded.

On the base of the dispenser, that is to say where the metro, bus, etc. tickets will be placed, there is an inclined plane (5) with opening at its top (7). This consists of the space left between the upper part (6) in gray, and the lower part of the dispenser.

Figure 2 shows a detailed section of the opening and closing system, by blocking, of the dispenser flap.

A hinge, in its upper part (8), allows the shutter to be raised and lowered by simple handling.

In this figure, the flap (2) is in a vertical position, that is to say closed.

This opening and closing system will be molded in the mass in the case where the tickets will be placed in the dispenser at the time of its manufacture.

Figure 3 shows a perspective view of the dispenser. This makes it possible to see the inclined plane (5) in gray, formed by two ramps so as to leave the central part empty, in order to respect the magnetic strip which is located in the middle of the metro tickets.

Figure 4 corresponds to the lateral section of the distributor, taken from the side of the outlet. It highlights the two inclined planes (5) (hatched part), forming the ramp leading the metro ticket to its exit.

FIG. 5 represents the lateral part of the outlet orifice (7).

Figure 6 corresponds to the previous one but on the flap side (2).

Figure 7 is a perspective view of the dispenser, highlighting both the outlet and the opening for the passage of the finger (I).

Figure 8 is the same as the previous one but seen from the angle of the flap (2).

FIG. 9 represents a view taken from above and at the same time emphasizes the assembly of the distributor and the opening intended for the passage of the finger (I).

Figure 10O is a perspective view of the dispenser, taken from below the outlet port (7).

The dispenser illustrated in the drawing, is preferably made of molded injected plastic, and is in the form of a rectangular boot with an opening system for the introduction of metro, bus, etc. tickets, and with on its upper part, a second longitudinal opening and oblong, to allow a finger to push a ticket outward.

The stack of tickets is therefore introduced into the dispenser by the flap (2) placed in its raised position which, after filling, is closed.

In this position it is in good working order.

 I1 suffices, at this time, for the user, when punching his ticket to push it towards the outside of the dispenser, using the thumb, by simple movement from back to front, and engage it in the hole of the composting machine.

The ticket, thus used, becomes automatically expired and only the one or those remaining in the dispenser can be used.

In conclusion, the purpose of this invention is to enable the persons concerned to use a dispensing device, of very simple manufacture and operation, suitable for the UNIT distribution of specific articles, mainly small objects. , benefiting from a certain flexibility and a small thickness, such as metro tickets, bus tickets etc, ...

Furthermore, if the only raw material mentioned in the presentation of the article was plastic, it could, of course, be made of many other materials such as, among others, light steel, precious metals, silver, gold, etc ...

Finally, it is quite certain that the present invention is in no way limited to the abovementioned embodiments and that, as a result, numerous variations can be made thereto, while remaining within the scope of this patent.
