Abstract

The assembly consists of a lifting hook (5) and a crescent-shaped sling (1). The lifting hook has two bosses (9). After the sling has been threaded through the eye of the hook, the stop (3) is welded in position. The arc of movement of the sling is limited by the stop making contact with the bosses and disengagement of the sling is also prevented. The sling may be used with a shackle.
