Abstract

The chopping board for food is a wooden board (1) with a groove (3) and an opening (4) in which a removable receptacle (5) fits to catch any liquid. The receptacle is a ladle with a handle (7) which fits into a notch (8) in the edge of the board. The end of the groove has a flange to hold the receptacle in place and to prevent any liquid flowing under the receptacle. The edges of the board are raised and it has handles (12) at each end.
