Abstract

The compsn. consists of one or more plant essences encapsulated in a water-soluble wrapping; a foaming agent and a foam stabiliser, and one or more plants or parts of plants in their natural state apart from a physical treatment. The compsn. is prepd. by encapsulating the essence, enrobing the foaming agent and hardening and similarly the stabiliser or both together, and mixing the two with the plants in the appropriate physical form; an unit compsn. contg. 40-50 g. Unlike previous compsns. which employed extracts or an active plant ingredient, the above enables the full health benefit of all the plant ingredients. Also it avoids the need for colourants and other additives such as anti-oxidants and bactericides.
