Abstract

Articles are distributed from an inclined storage system in which the articles are stacked and extracted from the base of the stack by use of an ejector. This allows the system to be restocked readily from the front. Articles (1) are stored in a storage rack (2) with a shaped cross section providing side walls (3,4) and base (5). The axis of the stack is inclined to the vertical so that the articles will not fall out. A distributor (6) comprising an ejector (7-16) is located at the rear and comprises a carriage (7) which moves in guides (8) in side walls (17,18). The carriage is driven by a lever (9) operating around an axis (10) and whose end (11) operates in conjunction with an ejector (15) at the end of a control assembly (14).
