Abstract

The T-section post is fixed to the ground and the grille of large diameter node welded vertical and horizontal wires is fixed to the post. The post web is notched to receive the horizontal wires, the notch being one wire diameter high and of depth between half and one diameter so that the wire is supported in the notch where it is held firmly by an elongated spring washer passing around it and a bolt in the post web. At least two stiffening tube rails (15) are provided, the rail sections being joined together by hafting over a smaller diameter tube.
