Abstract

The steering assembly has a pair of swivels (11a,11b) and a pair of stub axles (22,23) associated with them. There is also a rack (17) type steering control. The swivels and stub axles are mounted on a part fixed to the chassis so that the swivels can swivel horizontally, or slightly inclined. The stub axles move independently of each other. The swivels (15) are of U section, the webs covering the ends of a fixed traverse (13) on the chassis and the assembly can be displaced angularly. This is done by attachment to the rack ends (18).
