Abstract

The barbecue unit is designed to avoid any fire risk, because the smoke, sparks and cooking gas are conveyed through a pipe which is positioned quite high up when the barbecue is used outdoors. It may alternatively be connected to a mechanically controlled ventilation duct. The cooking fire is moved vertically by four cams and operated by an outside lever and fixed at the required height by a ball and spring arrangement. The barbecue can be heated by any fuel.
