Abstract

The postcard comprises a support backing (A) of stiff cardboard. This has a layer of adhesive (14) on its surface, to locate a second cardboard layer (B) applied to it. A cutout (F) is provided in this second layer, initially filled by a protective insert backed by a non-stick film. This insert is removed and replaced by the selected feature (13), such as a view or photograph. The feature adheres to the adhesive to form a permanent bond, its top face level with the top surface of the second cardboard layer.
