Abstract

The machine transports and dries rotatable printed articles, e.g. plastic bottles, and an endless conveyor with holders for the bottles etc. Each holder (22) comprises a pair of supporting rollers (24, 26, 28, 30), whose axes are at right angles to the travel direction. The diameter of the rollers at the ends, where the articles (11) are supported, is greater than at the middle, and the rollers are spaced at a distance to suit the cross-section of the bottles. Each support roller may consist of two partial rollers on the same axis of rotation.
