Abstract

The stapler drives staples into timber, using hand leverage to compress a spring (9) to displace a laminar ram (6). A latch maintains the loaded state. The ram has a square cup (7) which houses the foot of the spring (9), and which slides in a slotted box section housing track. A partial housing cover (10) retains the head of the spring, and cup windows (12) are engageable (13) by a recoil sprung (17) locking lever (14) on an axle (15) located by slot holes (16).
