Abstract

Dans cet enregistreur, le porteur d'information est rabattu en hélice sur au moins une partie de la circonférence du tambour. Le diamètre du tambour de cet enregistreur vidéo a été diminué comparativement au diamètre de tambour de l'enregistreur vidéo à deux têtes grâce à l'emploi de n têtes (n supérieur à deux) et d'un angle de rabattement de bande supérieur à n-1/n x 360 degrés . Cet enregistreur offre l'avantage supplémentaire important que sans devoir ajouter des têtes supplémentaires, on a la possibilité de reproduire l'information directement à l'occasion de son enregistrement (<< monitoring >>). Application : appareillage portatif d'enregistrement vidéo.
