Abstract

The cover plate is for cross-head type screws, having four pairs of ribs at intervals in the peripheral direction. Each pair is sprung into engagement with the sides of the respective slot in the screw head. The plate (2) is in one piece and of plastic and the radial faces of the ribs (10) diverge radially outwards. The pairs of ribs (8) are joined together by a central connection portion (6) fitting in the central recess in the screw head.
