Abstract

The toboggan can be used on snow, ice or a synthetic track and is for use without training by children. It consists of a monocoque shell of hard plastics or glass fibre, giving rigidity and resistance to impact. It is made in an aerodynamic shape allowing it to descend steep slopes and turn while keeping a low centre of gravity, giving greater stability. The feet are separated and fit into depressions in the toboggan. At the bottom of the toboggan there are suckers of elastic material.
