Abstract
The mooring consists of a cable (3) which is allowed to penetrate the sea-bed. The cable is connected to the shackle (23) bolted to the through bolt (6). This in turn is connected to the conical nut (7) at the end of the bolt. The bolt goes through the flexible envelope (5). The envelope is inflated after positioning by injecting concrete into the envelope through the connection (11) at the top of the envelope. The mooring is laid by inserting the deflated envelope in a pipe which is forced into the bed by hydraulic pressure.
