Abstract
Procédé amélioré pour la fabrication d'une brique réfractaire encapsulée convenant particulièrement pour les déchargeurs à tiroirs pour poches de coulée, entonnoirs de coulée et matériels analogues, et briques réfractaires ainsi obtenues. La présente invention concerne un procédé pour fabriquer une brique réfractaire 10 encapsulée dans une enveloppe métallique 20, consistant à mélanger les composés réfractaires en granulés de préférence basiques avec un liant chimique, à mettre ce mélange à l'état libre dans l'enveloppe métallique 20, à comprimer ledit mélange dans ladite enveloppe puis à dégauchir et à rectifier la surface 11 de la brique réfractaire 10 émergeant de l'enveloppe, ce procédé étant caractérisé par le fait qu'au moins une fraction des composés réfractaires est constituée par de l'alumine en une quantité minimum de 20 % et qu'en outre, un manchon préformé constitué de préférence par une composition réfractaire comportant une liaison céramique peut être inséré dans ladite enveloppe avant le moulage de la partie restante de la brique réfractaire 10 afin de protéger le trou de coulée 40.
