Abstract

The trailer is for road towing with a torsion bar axle fixed to the chassis under side. The torsion bar (10) is of square section going through a tube of circular shape (6). The bar ends are fixed to one end of a perpendicular bar (12) pivoting on the axle body, the other end carrying a stub axle (14). The body of the axle is of two similar parts on either side of a centre (16) and which is mounted in a support (9) fixed to the chassis to swivel and lock on an axis similar to that of the bar.
