Abstract

The distributor is fitted into the irrigation circuit together with others and comprises a flowmeter (1) which drives a rotary plate (8) through gearing (2). This plate carries three balls, one (B2) closing the water outlet (9), another (B1) the priming circuit (10) for the integral flowmeter, and the third (B3) an outlet (As) to the next distributors in line. Opening a valve (R) initiates the first flow through the flowmeter to rotate the table and open the water outlet. After one rotation the outlet is closed and a projection (17) opens the priming circuit to the subsequent units.
