Abstract

A calibration circuit establishes the control colour signals of a colour t.v. receiver. It does not require the use of scanning pulses and it is possible to set the level of the d.c. voltage and the amplitude at the cathode of the colour tube. The circuit has an adjustable resistor in a negative feedback path of the cathode which is used to adjust the voltage. The negative feedback control input (5) of the colour signal amplifier (1) is connected to the pick-off point (7) of an operating voltage, via the adjustable resistor (6). The operating voltage is connected across a voltage divider (8, 9). The negative feedback control input (5) is also connected to the cathode of the tube via another resistor (4).
