Abstract

Wet air enters the top of a reactor vessel and passes over an evaporator forming a cold unit. This cold air passes over the dehumidifying liquid contained in the base of the vessel and is discharged over an external condenser and warmed. The warm air flows over the photographic film and is returned to the vessel. The water contaminated liquid is circulated to a regenerator unit, this comprising a compressor. Recycled liquid is returned and the removed water discharged for disposal. The hot and cold units are the hot and cold sources of a heat pump.
