Abstract

The aim is to create a wind energy converter for small and medium power outputs, also suitable for wind speeds of less than 5 m/sec, but with good starting torque and high speeds. This is achieved by the non-circular orbit and by the lift elements, designed as double blades of thin, arched plates (10, 11), which are fixed on a rotating chain (8) guided over at least two deflection pulleys (6, 7).
