Abstract

Procédé pour préparer des phénols comportant les stades de (I) décomposition d'un hydroperoxyde d'un composé aromatique isopropylique avec un catalyseur acide, (II) séparation du produit de decomposition obtenu dans le stade (I) en acétone, phénols, hydrocarbures et résidu de distillation par distillation du produit de décomposition et III décomposition thermique du résidu de distillation et recyclage du phénol brut obtenu dans le stade (III). On met le phénol brut obtenu dans le stade (III) en contact avec un glycol (colonne 14) pour former une couche d'hydrocarbures et une couche d'extrait constituée du glycol et de phénol et en ce que l'on recycle le phénol (canalisation 50) de cette couche d'extrait dans le stade (II).
