Abstract

The container is made from corrugated sheeting with an open end surrounded by aframe (5). The frame has an internal flange which supports a lid (6). The lid is hinged along one edge of the frame so that the lid may be moved completely clear of the opening. The lid is fitted with a filling plug (11). The lid is sealed by a flexible joint which surrounds the frame (5). The base of the container has a fixed frame (2) which has corrugated panels to close the container.
