Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif à éclairage par la tranche. Le dispositif de l'invention comprend un corps de transmission de lumière 53 comportant une surface frontale de sortie de lumière 61, une deuxième surface frontale 63 opposée à celle-ci, au moins une surface marginale polie d'entrée de lumière 65 et au moins une surface marginale 67 réfléchissant la lumière et une source lumineuse disposée en relation d'éclairage avec la surface marginale d'entrée de lumière 65. L'invention est utilisée pour fournir des indications bien éclairées notamment dans des cas d'urgence et en présence d'une fumée dense en cas d'incendie.
