Abstract

An additional form of body structure which is for fitting to standard road vehicles. It consists of side and end panels and standard dimension sheets, stamped to form the boundaries of windows and similar items. The ends are bent prior to welding together. The angle pieces joining side panels to end panels consist of parts embedded in the sides and the ends have recesses for welding the two together. There are also corner joints formed at an angle in the angle profiles and end panels. Flexible joints are used for weatherproofing.
