Abstract
The inflator for boats, tyres and other uses works from a car exhaust system. The inflation air is free from exhaust gas. The inflator has a chamber fed with exhaust gas via an inlet and outlet. Another chamber is provided for the compressed air, with inlet and outlet. The chambers are separated by moveable walls with flexible return and which are sealed. A valve controls the outlet of exhaust gas once the walls are separated to compress air. The compressed air is delivered through a non-return valve.
