Abstract

Procédé pour la protection locale des surfaces de pièces de fer ou d'acier contre l'absorption de carbone, d'azote et de bore lors de traitements thermiques sans utilisation de cuivre en tant que moyen de protection locale En vue de cette protection locale des surfaces externes de pièces de fer et d'acier, de l'aluminium est appliqué avant le traitement thermique, en une épaisseur de couche de 10 à 100 microns sur les parties des surfaces à protéger au moyen d'un procédé de pulvérisation à travers une flamme; la structure du dispositif de pulvérisation, les paramètres du pistolet pulvérisateur et sa distance à la pièce, entre 15 et 25 cm environ, ainsi que la durée du traitement et l'intensité du jet sont adaptés entre eux de telle sorte que l'épaisseur de couche se situe dans la gamme de tolérance spécifiée, de préférence entre 10 et 30 microns.
