Abstract

The nickel-based superalloy has a composition of 8 to 12% chromium, 4.5 to 5.5% aluminum, 1 to 2% titanium, 3 to 5% tungsten, 10 to 14% tantalum, 3 to 7% cobalt, the balance is mainly nickel and this alloy does not include boron and zirconium carbon and contains only limited amounts of cobalt. The invention is, for example, usable in the field of gas turbine engines.
