Abstract

La cellule, pour extraire le plasma du sang fonctionne par filtrage du sang à travers une membrane poreuse. La cellule comporte deux membranes poreuses accolées 8, 10, enveloppées par deux feuilles souples étanches 4, 6. Les pores des membranes filtrantes ont un calibre de 0,1 à 2 microns environ. Le sang arrive par un orifice d'entrée 20, pour circuler entre les deux membranes filtrantes 8, 10, et ressortir par un deuxième orifice 22. Le plasma filtré ressort dans deux volumes 24, 26, respectivement situés entre chaque feuille étanche 4, 6 et chaque membrane poreuse 8, 10. Le plasma est évacué par un orifice de sortie 30 qui communique avec au moins l'un des volumes 24, 26, prévus pour le plasma filtré. Application aux appareils servant à prélever en continu le plasma sanguin, à partir du sang fourni par un donneur, auquel est restitué le sang appauvri en plasma
