Abstract

The bottle has a top rim so that the bottle cap can be snapped over it. The cap is flat and has an internal sealing washer. The cap is covered with a sealing hood (1) which also fits over the bottle neck. The bottle nech has a shoulder and the hoods fits over the shoulder. A tear off strip (3) is marked out spirally in the hood. The strip has a holding tab (2) at the end, and the entire hood may be removed after tearing.
