Abstract

The insert device is used for fixture in a tubular hole in a bearer and comprises an insert component and a socket part (1) with a shape which coincides to that of the hole. A conical part extends from one side of the socket part coaxially, its largest circumference line at its wide end fitting into the bearer hole. A diametrically deformable lock ring (5) is provided which can come into engagement with the wall of the bearer hole and is placed on the conical part between the ends. A tension screw fits in the insert part hole and can engage with the hole wall to raise the insert part in relation to the bearer hole. This lifting operation brings the ring (5) more tightly against the wide end of the conical part. This causes the ring to press against the hole wall and to lock the insert part in position.
