Abstract
Nouveau procédé d'obtention d'ajmalicine à partir des racines de plantes Catharanthus roseus. Le procédé consiste à extraire les racines à l'aide d'un alcanol contenant de 1 à 5 atomes de carbone, à additionner l'extrait d'une solution aqueuse d'un acide faible, à extraire ce mélange d'abord avec un hydrocarbure, ensuite avec un hydrocarbure chloré ou un ester, à isoler si on le désire de la solution d'hydrocarbure la tétrahydroalstonine et à isoler à partir de l'extrait obtenu à l'aide de l'hydrocarbure chloré ou à partir d'un ester, l'ajmalicine d'une manière connue en soi.
