Abstract

The lighter is in the form of a tube which is opened at one end to allow the insertion of the cigarette. The end of the cigarette is located at the focal point of a lens located at the end of the lighter. The tube has a number of radial holes to admit combustion air. The lighter will ignite a cigarette under sunlight and operate under windy conditions.
