Abstract

The bathroom tap has a knob formed by a cylindrical housing (1) with a square hole (4) in the end wall (3) to fit over the square end (5) of the spindle (6). A decorative ring (13) is held against a shoulder (2) of the housing by a cap nut (12). The ring can be adapted to suit individual requirements for shape or colour. If necessary the ring (13) can be replaced by a special handle to enable the tap to be more easily operated by physically handicapped people.
