A LENS MAY BE PROVIDED AT THE SECOND END OF THE FLEXIBLE WAVE GUIDE. THE INVENTION APPLIES IN PARTICULAR TO CUTTING, DRILLING, WELDING DEVICES, AS WELL AS TO SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS.
