Abstract

The trolley is particularly used for installing equipment into the bays in a telephone exchange. The hoist (1) has a load support plate (2) which can be raised or lowered as required. Two additional plates (3, 4) are mounted on the support plate (2). The first plate (3) is mounted on linear ball bearings so that it can slide in the direction of the axis of the support plate. The second plate (4) is mounted so that it can both rotate and slide laterally. When the equipment is mounted on the plate it can be easily manoeuvred in any required direction.
