Abstract

Support framework for building small houses, huts, tents etc. for amusement has tubular rod like elements (1) coupled to their ends by coupling members. Each coupling has a central element (5) from which sockets or spigots (6) project. The spigots may be tapered, centrally split and provided with a renlent O-ring or beed (6a) engaging an annular groove (1a) within the tubular rod. The arrangement allows a wide variety of frame configurations to be constructed with ease, e.g. by children.
