Abstract

The plastics container is shallow and is fitted with an outside flange along both longitudinal and lateral edges. The end of the container is fitted with a rib (10) which extends part of the way along the sides and across the end. The lid has an outside rib (22) and an edge groove which fits over the container flange at one end. The opposite end of the lid has a flange (19) which fits in a groove on the container flange. The lid is closed by the stud (13) in the container which fits into the groove in the lid.
