Abstract

Parent patent described the die casting of a metal component on the head of a non-metallic component (I), where the head is first covered (partly) by >=1 metal bushes. Improvement is that a layer of glass fibres is located by compression between the metal bush and the head of (I). Layer contains an inert mineral preventing the bush from bonding to (I). Layer is pref. a disc inserted in the base of a cup-shaped bush made of metal with good thermal conductivity, the bush then being placed on the head of (I). Layer pref. has a wt. 10-50, esp. 26 g/m2 and contains talcum or alumina powder as the inert material. Used to prevent bonding of the metal bush onto a hard glass component (I).
