Abstract

The friction clutch has a plate spring hinging by a support on the clutch cover and one on the spring side furthest from the cover. The support is formed by portions stamped out of the cover and bent over so as to protrude through openings in the spring to act as holders. The portions of the cover protruding radially beyond the supporting areas have additional recesses. After at least partial removal of the holders for preparation, new holders are fitted in these recesses and extend through the plate spring, forming the support furthest from that on the cover.
