Abstract

The single piece awning for articulated vehicles has a central portion with an excess of awning material. It has elastic rails. The two halves of the vehicle (1, 2) are connected (3) and have walls (4, 5) but have no central wall, so that the rolling hoops (6) suspending the awning have to run from front to back. The two centre hoops (10, 11) are connected with excess awning material (7) and elastic springs (8, 9) so that the lorry can articulate without splitting the awning.
