Abstract

Une jambe de suspension hydraulique, renfermant un liquide compressible, comprend un piston percé de canaux et mobile alternativement dans un cylindre de manière à en diviser la chambre en deux parties. Les canaux du piston assurent une circulation réglée du liquide de l'une des parties de la chambre dans l'autre. Un élément de clapet s'applique contre le piston lorsque la jambe de suspension est mise en position d'extension sous l'effet d'un rebondissement, de manière à réduire considérablement la circulation du liquide à travers le piston et à amplifier l'amortissement au moment d'un rebondissement. Cet élément de clapet est soumis à la force de deux ressorts qui le retiennent l'écart du piston en fonctionnement normal, mais lui permettent de se rapprocher du piston au cours d'un rebondissement. Application aux engins lourds de transport pour chantiers de construction.
