Abstract

L'invention concerne un piston à fond séparé pour moteurs à combustion interne. Ledit piston comporte un corps en alliage léger et un fond fixé à ce dernier par des tirants disposés parallèlement à l'axe du piston. Ce fond ne s'appuie contre le corps du piston que par une nervure annulaire bombée. Entre les faces des nervures annulaires du fond et du corps du piston, un interstice s'élargit radialement vers l'intérieur. La surface de la nervure annulaire du corps du piston présente une courbure radialement convexe qui décroît d'autant plus que la distance radiale augmente par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du piston. Application aux moteurs à combustion interne, notamment les moteurs Diesel.
