Abstract

Cette imposte est du type de celles qui comportent un vantail pivotant sur un axe horizontal, articulé sur un châssis donnant au moyen de charnières dont les deux charnons présentent chacun une face d'appui en regard d'une traverse horizontale appartenant respectivement au châssis mobile, et au châssis dormant Dans l'imposte selon l'invention, chaque charnon 4, 5 de chaque charnière est muni d'un prolongement 11 qui s'étend à partir de sa face d'appui 7, perpendiculairement à elle, pénètre dans le profilé qui constitue la traverse respective à travers une fente 12, 13, ménagée dans la paroi de celui-ci et y est immobilisé à l'aide de vis 16 engagées à partir d'un espace vide entre les deux châssis, et il est prévu, pour tenir compte d'un décalage éventuel entre la paroi 14, 15 munie des ouvertures nécessaires au passage des vis et la fente précitée, une pièce intercalaire 17 d'épaisseur correspondante, apte à être introduite par ladite fente dans le profilé. On peut ainsi utiliser les mêmes charnières pour des profilés différents et la fixation des charnières est extrêmement solide.
