Abstract

The carton is made from a single sheet of cardboard. If has a base made from four panels which are tucked over. The four sides are made from adjacent panels (12, 13). The lid of the carton has two end panels (22) and two side panels (23). Both side panels have a slot in the centre with an additional tab (30) on one edge of one side. The tab is tucked around the edge of the opposite slot. A reinforcing strip is fitted to the underside of one panel and this is of plastics material.
